Step 3: Error Check & Ranking
4.1 Correction of Errors – Check detailed-responsive bidders' Bills of Quantities for arithmetic errors. Generate Table 5.0 ranking.
Arithmetic Error Check (ITT Clause 33): The tender sum as submitted and read out during tender opening shall be absolute and final.
Any errors in the submitted tender arising from a miscalculation of unit price, quantity, subtotal and total bid price shall be considered as a major deviation that affects the substance of the tender.

4.3 Preference
A margin of preference of 15% has been applied to this tender in accordance with Clause 147 and 148 of the PPADR 2020.
Next Step: Post-Qualification of Lowest Evaluated Bidder
The Tender Evaluation Committee shall subject the lowest evaluated bidder, NEW TEST (Bid: KShs. 98,500,000.00), to post-qualification analysis in accordance with ITT Clause 37 and requirements of Section III on Evaluation and Qualification Criteria.
